A Musical Jazz Ensemble duo with Jean Baptiste Richon on Piano & Dave Ford on everything else...Dajo play a selection of old favourites, plus the odd delightful but slightly more obscure tune. Improvisation ebbs & flows between & within the tunes. Tenor Sax & muted Trumpet form the main voices, but Flute, Clarinet, Soprano Sax & even Fiddle come out now & again.
Jean Baptist's tasty finger-work subtly tickles the ear-drum with left hand electric & acoustic bass complementing the right hand classic piano, Rhodes, Hammond sounds. Lazy vibes emanate from Dajo. Take 5 & enjoy...

See all Dave's toys come out in one evening for some laid back soulful jazz. Excellent for background music at Weddings & Functions, or during cocktail evening, barbeques etc.
For weddings & functions Jean Baptiste & Dave play a selection of favorite & a few slightly more obscure but delightful jazz numbers. Jean Baptiste plays piano & Dave plays Tenor & Soprano Saxes, Trumpet , Clarinet & Flute.

For Gallery openings Dajo's sound morphs into a more eclectic, Avant Gard & minimalist type performance. Dave wanders the gallery conversing musically with Jean Baptiste across rooms & though openings. The music is sparse & atmospheric & tries to complement the work on show.

Dajo expands....You can add tasty jazz drummer Hugh Martin & awesome accoustic bass player Paul Gilbody both from 'Gecko3' & a selection of soulful singers for a sumptuous 5 piece... just add £120 each per gig. Extra time is charged @ £60 per musician / hr. Please contact Dave for more details. |

Dajo come suited & booted for a truly classy wee outfit. Creating an atmosphere is what the outfit is all about so we don't look for too much attention but just slip into the background & let the the music do the magic. |
